Carson Foss | Owner
Carson Foss was born and raised in Ogden, where he’s proud to call home with his wife, Cassandra, and their two sons, Evan and Marcus. When he’s not brewing, Carson can be found spending time with family and friends, playing hockey, skiing, mountain biking, or enjoying just about any outdoor adventure.
A commercial pilot for most of his career, Carson has visited at least one brewery in every state—a feat he takes great pride in. Combining his extensive “field research” with over a decade of brewing experience, Carson is thrilled to bring his passion for craft beer to life at UTOG Brewing Co. His goal is to create beers that reflect his love for Ogden and share them with communities across Utah.
Brett Walker | Head Brewer
Brett is living his dream as the head brewer at UTOG Brewing Co., where he combines passion, creativity, and expertise to craft exceptional beers. A Northern Utah native, Brett takes pride in calling this area home. His brewing journey began in 2009 as a homebrewer, experimenting with flavors and techniques in his own kitchen.
With years of experience in the food and beverage industry, Brett has worked as a bartender, restaurant manager, beer packager at a Salt Lake brewery, and even with the Utah Department of Alcohol Beverage Control. These roles not only deepened his appreciation for beer but also sharpened his skills in crafting quality brews.
When UTOG opened its doors in 2019, Brett seized the opportunity to join the team, quickly forming a strong partnership with owner Carson. Together, they are dedicated to brewing beer that stands out in both quality and flavor.
Brett lives in Ogden with his wife and their dogs. In his free time, he enjoys playing hockey, snowboarding, and soaking in the vibrant community he calls home.
Anna Clark | General Manager
Anna Clark has made Northern Utah her home for nearly 40 years, bringing a wealth of experience from over 25 years in the food and beverage industry. A firm believer that every celebration deserves good food and great beer, she infuses her passion for culinary delights into both her professional and personal life. When she’s not crafting the perfect menu or sharing a laugh with loved ones, Anna can be found conquering mountain trails on her bike or gliding across the water on her paddle board during the summer. In the winter, she enjoys cozying up indoors with her beloved dogs, proving that whether in the mountains or at home, she knows how to savor life’s simple pleasures.
Jaden Dedman | Executive Chef
Jaden’s passion for food began at an early age, inspired by hours spent watching the Food Network, family BBQs, and a love for ravioli. An Ogden native with roots dating back to the Prohibition era, she grew up immersed in the kitchen, both at home and in her professional life.
Over the course of seven years, Jaden honed her craft, eventually rising to head chef under the guidance of Chef Tony Chen at one of Ogden’s most cherished fine dining establishments. Her dedication to culinary excellence is matched only by her commitment to community.
Beyond the kitchen, Jaden serves as a board member for a local animal sanctuary and draws inspiration from her culinary hero, Matty Matheson.
